I enjoy taking photos.  I am not a professional, I just have fun with it.  Here are some photos I have taken recently:

I joined a Flickr group – all of us have dedicated to taking a photo a day for a year.  We have a theme each week and one of our photos that week should go with that theme.  The first day was August 1.  Our first theme was “lines”.  Here is my first photo:

What is fun about the 365 Day Challenge is that it gets me thinking about taking photos every day for art and not just to capture my family.  I think I will learn a lot as I work on this all year.

Have a great day!

  1. I love photography too. I enjoy trying to capture God’s beautiful creation (especially when I travel) to share with others (Romans 1:20). The photos you have posted are beautiful. I think my favorite is your “lines” one. 🙂

May the Lord bless and keep you.

    Kindest regards,
    Brook

    Thank you Brook!

Some of my favorite pictures I have taken were when we were out of the country.

You are right about capturing God’s beautiful creation – not just nature, but people too. My problem is that I have to remind myself to not just look, but to take a photo! 🙂
